Her symbolism reminding sometimes of Chagall, Ragini's work seems to be of international modernity. However her work lives in the depth of her personal emotions. Those are born by intelligent mind living the tension of a society stepping from a traditional background in to the challenges of a modern generation. This unfolding art talent exists in the exhibition with her latest developments since her stay in Germany, focusing on the revolutionary events of 1989/1990 in Germany and in Nepal.

Her work is a distinctive composite blend of imagery and emotion. Ragini conflicts experience, impressions and some of these are represented in her work which in the final analysis must speak to itself.

In Ragini's paintings, the symbolic representations are mostly human faces, hands, birds, animals, flowers and stupas mysteriously floating around as if in a dream. These recognizable objects emerge and suddenly appear as through they are from the nether regions of our subconscious mind. Indeed, We all are subjected to the same fears, neurosis, dreams and imaginations. The artist is haunted by those deeply rooted subconscious feelings, but because of her creative instinct, she transforms them into beautiful pictures with harmonious colors and poetic feelings.
